Firew Seyoum has been practicing law in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, since 2008. He completed his Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws studies at College of Law, University of Saskatchewan. He has extensively practiced in immigration law, real estate law, corporate law, employment law, commercial law, wills, and other areas in Canada. He has successfully represented clients and litigated before courts and administrative tribunals.
Mr. Seyoum has conducted research in various areas of law. He presented on various legal issues at seminars and workshops including at the Annual Conference of Canadian Law Teachers and Deans. He lectured as an honorary guest lecturer at the College of Law, University of Saskatchewan, on employment standards and human rights laws at the workplace in Canada.
Appointed under the Order in Council of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan, Mr. Seyoum serves as a hearing officer at pleasure and he adjudicates disputes at the Residential Tenancies Office, Department of Justice and Attorney General of Saskatchewan.
Mr. Seyoum is a member of the Law Society of Saskatchewan. As a licensed lawyer, Mr. Seyoum dedicates his time to advance his clients’ legal matters professionally, diligently, and faithfully. When he is off work, he enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering, exercising, and being involved in other leisurely activities.
